Terror on the train

I took a four hour train ride to my parents' yesterday and what a ride it was. Well, the first three hours were pretty uneventful. I tried to make the time go faster (maybe it would have been better trying to make the train go faster?) by switching between reading, sleeping and looking at other passagers in my cabin and on the platform at every trainstop. After three hours the train stopped at this city called Orebro and at this point I had started to lose my interest in all the three things I occupied myself with. Little did I know what I was about to see.

Through the window I saw three Middle-Eastern looking men walking back and forth outside my cabin and they were constantly looking at the train. I thought it seemed suspicious but figured I was just being paranoid, so I turned my head and looked around inside instead. A Swedish man with raggy clothes came on the train and put a couple of bags in a compartment two seats infront of me. He then turned to face the window, smiled at the Middle-East men, pointed at the bags and did thumbs-up. The men outside the train smiled back, seemed to relax a bit and lit a cigarette each.

A couple of minutes after that, the Swedish man walked to the door behind me and the Middle-East men met him there and they started talking. I couldn't hear what they said because my heart was beating too loudly. I didn't see any of them after that. I don't know if the Swedish guy went to his seat or if he got off the train and left together with the three men. All I know is that those bags freaked me out. I didn't know what to do! I wanted to tell and have someone check the bags to see what was inside, but I was afraid it was all just a big mistake. How embarrassing wouldn't it be, both for me and the one who owned the bags? What can I say, I'm a coward. I didn't say a word... I would never have forgiven myself if something had happened but I was too afraid to do anything. I suck.

But I arrived at my destination all safe and sound and it seems like everyone else on that train did too (I've been keeping an eye on the news).

Dizzyness

Yesterday I woke up at nine but I had no plans for the day so I figured I might as well stay in bed for a while. I shut my eyes and the next time I opened them it was past noon...

So I got out of bed quickly because I didn't want to waste more time sleeping when I could be doing... eh... nothing. However I just managed to take a couple of steps before I felt dizzy and my vision started to fade away. I staggered back and landed face down on my bed. It got pitch black and it felt like my head was boiling.

After a few seconds, I could see things and I felt okay. Once again I got up (this time slowly) and started walking (slowly) towards the bathroom. Five steps later, same thing happened again. And again. And again. _And_ again! It was riddiculus.

*changing subject*

A friend showed this picture to me. I just love it! Makes me want to make someone smile, by doing that. Heehee

Where am I?!

"Where am I? I need to get out of this room. Oh no! The door is locked and I don't have the key!" That's the plot to the online games I've been playing lately. Escape the room games. Fun!

The Crimson Room was the first one I played, which feels like ages ago. A couple of months ago I stumbled across more games similar to it and now I love them. Most of them take place in a locked room and you have to explore the surroundings, find clues and use them correctly in order to escape from the room.

I must confess that most of these sort of games are really hard and doesn't make sense all the time. "Oh I found a crowbar under the pillow. If I use it to tilt the bookshelf a piece of paper falls out. If I turn off the light I can see some numbers written on the paper. By adding and multiplying randomly I get the code to the safe that's hidden behind the desk. In the safe I find an apple and now I'm one step closer to freedom!" I don't know how many times I've clicked frantically everywhere on the screen hoping to get lucky. Or used a walkthrough heh.

I've added a bunch of point and click games to the Kill Time section. Travelogue and My Diamond Baby are two of my favorites escape the room games.

If you're not squirmish then try out the horror ones too. But I recommend playing them during daytime or not at all...

Taking pictures

Good news and bad news.

The good news is that I now have access to a digitalcamera that I can use. So today I spent a lot of time taking pictures of my belongings and finished craft stuff to put on this site. It was boring and took a long time.. But that's not the bad news. No no.

The bad news is that 90% of all the pictures turned out weird and you can't even tell what it is. There is probably something wrong with the camera. Yeah, it's the camera's fault, not mine. The blurry pictures have nothing to do with my lack of skills.

I need a digitalcamera

It's been so hot here lately. Almost 30 degrees Celsius (86F). I wasn't made for this kind of weather *wipes away a sweatdrop from forehead*

I've made some necklaces and bracelets, but since I haven't gotten my hands on a digitalcamera yet (my parents have borrowed mine), you just have to use your imagination to see how they look like. Hihi.

Something that I can show you, is this:
Robert made it for me. I call him Lobo, which sounds like the Chinese words for "carrot", which explains the image a bit.

Cornyness is still alive! And so am I!

First of all, I am _so_very_sorry_ that I have been neglecting Cornyness.com and everything that comes with it. Lots of new stuff happened in my life (moved away from home, started at the university, met Robert, turned 20, went to Italy) and I just lost interest in keeping this website updated. But now I've gotten excited about this whole thing again, can't wait til I start getting stressed about not being able to update daily *joy*

If you are a regular Cornyness visitor you might have noticed some changes here (except from the new layout and that it's obvious that I'm not dead). I've taken away some old content, that hopefully nobody will miss, and from now on this site will probably feature more of my craft projects. I still love bunnies though.

I will update again soon. I promise. *goes out to read in the sun*
