Bunnies in the mail

When I came home after school I found a package from Marilyn in my mailbox! It made me look like this smiley: ^-^

The stuff inside were even cuter than the bunny on the envelope. A pink bunny side satchel (wear it by putting a belt through the ears) and some yummy buttons! *joy*

Wow. This would have been a perfect day if I didn't have to do some math now... *pouts*

*glances at the new belongings*
*smiles*

Freebies

I went to the bank the other day to pay this bill and I got a free pen. It's green, see-through and it totally made my day. The amount of money I paid was definately worth more than 10 of those pens but it still made me happy that I got something for free.

School is starting again tomorrow. This fall I'm not just taking the obligatory classes for my Software Engineering major but I'm also taking Chinese at another university. Since education here in Sweden is free, I might as well take advantage of it.

Am I happy that I can go to two different universities for free? I don't know, but I would probably not be happy if I suddenly had to start paying for it. Unless they also started giving me free pens.

Yummy freaks

My parents were visiting me this weekend and my mom brought me some blueberries that she had picked in the forrest. I've been dreaming about making blueberry muffins for a while. So today I did.

Behold my misshapen blueberry muffins. Some of them are so deformed that they almost look freaky. Heh.

I blame the cheap paper baking cups.

My new friend Ann

I've been eyeing these cubes for a long time at different websites on the Internet. Liking them. Wanting them. Craving them! But the cost of the item plus the shipping (to Sweden) was just too much so I never bought one. Until today! *celebrates*

I was in one of my favorite stores, standing in line ready to pay when I suddenly noticed these familiar boxes standing on a shelf right next to me. I immediately grabbed a box and held it tightly with a huge grin on my face.

Meet Ann, the Senior Systems Programmer. Notice the huge stack of paper (which I made...) in her IN tray and the sales going down.

She's playing Solitare! No wonder the buisness is going so bad. *excited* I can't stop playing with this. I want to get more cubes and gadgets!

This is definately on my wishlist. I mean, you get a box of donuts! And cups! *over excited*

Who said you can't buy happiness? Now go and shop.

Romantic gift and buttons

Robert turned 21 two days ago and this is one of the things I gave him. A personalized book from yournovel.com.

It is a romantic story about Robert and I. Even though the story is quite cheesy it's still really cool and it's one of a kind.

I can definately recommend this as a romantic gift for your girlfriend, boyfriend, wife or husband. I'm sure even you parents or friend would appreiciate this gift.

I took a picture of my buttons. I used to collect them when I was younger and I think I'm going to continue with it now. *hugs my buttons*

These are my favorite buttons from my collection. I really like the cookie. And the zebra. And the elephant. And the bunny. And the turtle. And the ...

Plans for today

This is what I plan to do today:
1. Send a letter to my penpal
2. Send a package to a customer
3. Look up my schedule for this year's classes
4. Watch some anime while eating some Sourcream & onion chips
5. Finish watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Robert and I started watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night but when the kids were on the tour inside the factory, Robert got really sleepy so we decided to watch the rest today instead.

Today's tasks are not very demanding at all, I know. But tomorrow will be another story. I'll be vacuuming and cleaning my whole place and doing lots of less fun stuff *sigh*

I wish this day would never end...

What are your plans or what have you done today?

Crafting status

I brought out my Fimos yesterday to finish some stuff for a trade I'm in and ended up playing with that for the whole afternoon. I had almost forgotten how fun I used to think it was.

The picture shows some of the stuff I made. The little Momo bears are my favorite. It's hard to see in the picture but they actually do have mouths. I will probably make these into earrings and pendants and they will be available at my shop.

Robert couldn't keep his hand off the Fimo when he saw how much fun I had with it hehe. He made me a tiny litte bunny-esqe creature (you gotta love its eyes!) and a smiley with legs. Unfortunately the smiley is very weak and can't stand on his own so I'm supporting him with my finger.

I'm also right in the middle of a crotcheting project. I spotted this elastic yarn when I was in Italy and I knew I had to have it since it's in my favorite colorcombination: pink, yellow and orange. Now it's transforming into a tanktop. I'll post a picture of it when it's finished.

Philosophising

I just read today that your mouth produces 1 to 2 liter saliva each day. I wonder where the saliva comes from. I don't even notice when my mouth gets filled up with new saliva. When I was younger I thought I had two holes in my cheeks from where the saliva was dripping into my mouth.

What happens after it's gotten into the mouth? I assume we swallow it but I don't notice me doing it either. It feels like it's not until I start thinking about it that I start swallowing. Besides where does it end up at? Do we pee it out?

While we're on this type of subject I might as well ask another question I've been wondering about for quite some time. You know, when you're having a cold and you blow your nose, lots of gooey stuff comes out. But how did it fit inside the nose? Was it more compact? Did it expand when it got in contact with the air?

*Sigh* So many questions...

Elephants

I felt a lot better yesterday so I went shopping. This shiny laundry bag with the elephants on is one of my findings. See my matching sheets? *joy*

Guess what I'll be doing today. My laundry. Surprising huh?

*Cough cough*

I came back from my parents' two days ago and Robert went to England yesterday and now I'm sick. What a great timing *pouts* Now _I_ have to take care of myself... *still pouting*

It's nothing serious though. I just caught a cold. From my mom.. She was sick when I was there last week.

Drinking tons of water is a great way to get better faster. Well I'm drinking so much water that I'm running to the bathroom at least once every hour now.

The worst thing about having a cold is not coughing so much you can't even sleep, getting dizzy after being up for more than three hours straight or sounding like a grandma when you talk. No no, the worst thing is the runny nose. I've been blowing my nose so much that I'm afraid I won't have one left... *reaches for another tissue*

Even though I've been at home all day long, I still haven't managed to find all the four-leaf clovers.

*goes to the bathroom*
