Putting a smile on your face
I stumbled across this website which is a database with hilarous quotes. Well some are hilarious, some are funny, some are stupid and some are just lame, but nevertheless entertaining.
Here's a list with my favorites for the ones who don't feel like digging through the database themselves.
#4281 - Annoying? Annoyed
#104052 - Some people have to learn that sharing is good
#9322 - When just chatting gets boring
#77904 - IQ-less conversation
#368808 - Typos are dangerous
#151227 - Why you should give your girlfriend a potato
#348498 - Never there when you need him the most
#10958 - I always lie
#139697 - Some people are unhelpable
#207373 - Good and bad timing
#99835 - My absolute favorite one

My inbox and outbox
More fun in the mail! I received these from caylie for a trade we did. The little doggie is so cute and so squeezable! *squeezes it* I really like the four little charms, especially the tooth (love the expression!) and the dog. Yay!
I don't receive goodies all the time, even though it might seem like it by judging from my latest blog entries. I mean, I do get bills and other boring stuff too. I just don't feel like showing them off here...
And I don't only receive things. I send out a lot too. These just went out this weekend to different parts of the world.
Even though it's slow and I don't like waiting, I still love snailmail.

The past week
Sorry for being quiet for a week. I'll make up for it by eh... blogging now. (Lots of pics!)
I received these amazing goodies from Amy earlier this week for a trade we did. I got the handmade sweets earrings that I've been wanting for as long as I can remember, some cute buttons and Re-ment miniatures! Amy's the sweetest and one of the most talanted person I've ever gotten in contact with. Her creations are amazing. Just take a look at her shop and be prepared to be dazzled. Go! And spend all your money.
Oh no, somebody took a bite of the yummy earrings Amy made! Gah, they are so cute and look so real. Robert even smelled them to make sure they were not. These are some true eye(ear?)candy!
Now this is something edible though. I made this for dinner the other day. It's made of pototoes, broccoli, onions and cheese. It was yummy and it was enough to fill my stomache three times.
Yesterday Robert and I went to the inauguration of Christmas at Liseberg. The atmosphere was really cosy and it was nice to stroll around there even though it was freezing cold.
The trees looked so beautiful with the lights and all...
... but the trees outside the haunted house (Liseberg is an amusement park) were decorated with blue lights which made it look kind of spooky.
There were a place called "Ice Bar" where everything were made of ice, the walls, tables and even the drinking glasses! Unfortunately you had to pay to be able to enter and we didn't feel like getting colder so we didn't go in. Maybe next time.
People were selling lots of different Christmassy stuff there. Cheese, ham, sausages and handmade ornaments were everywhere. I fell in love with this little fella here who I brought home with me.
This morning Robert and I went out for a little walk and we passed by this little shop that I've never seen before. Inside the store there were tons of old necklaces and many broken ones that were being sold. I bought these two beads that I took from a broken necklace. Wonder what I should do with them...

Great mailday #2
I received my trade package from Carol today! These are the goodies she sent me: pretty fabric, cute ribbons and a beautiful handmade brooch. This turned out to be a great snailmail week!
Finding something nice in the mailbox after a tough school day always brighten up my face.

Great mailday
I've just received some goodies in the mail! Yay! *does a little dance*
I got some cute promo stuff (along with a signed contract) from Tara at Plain Mabel. There's a snazzy buisness card, an info card, a cute pin, a sticker and a consigner discount code. *does another dance*
I did a trade with the very talented momo and I've so been looking forward for her package to arrive. And now it's finally here! This is what I got from her; two beautiful handmade hairclips, a cute cellphone charm, two greetingcards with envelopes, a card with the cute unazukin on it and a candlelight buisness card.
Feels like an early Christmas. *joy*

My new old things
My parents came down here last weekend and my mom brought me some crafty things.
I've been wanting to learn how to knit for a while and now that my mom has given me her old supplies, I have no excuse anymore. I could say that I don't have time, but that's a lame excuse. There's plenty of time. It all depends on what you do with it.
She also gave me some old buttons. I already have a few ideas of what to do with some of the buttons. My crafty to-do list keeps getting longer and longer...
One last thing before I go to sleep. Some of my earrings (1, 2, 3) and tiny stuffed cakes are now available at Plain Mabel!
Whee! *skips all the way to the bed and dives under the blanket*
