In my mailbox
Except from a few bills and a lot of commercials I've gotten two interesting things in the mailbox this week.
My order from Kawaii Corner: a Detective Panda Diary with a lock and six(!) keys, a sheet with elephant stickers and a bottle shaped stamp that has real liquid inside the bottle! I also got some free cute memo sheets *happy*
This is how the stamp looks like. How can I not love it?
It's easier to explain what this is if you look at these. The Apple laptops have an apple on the lid and it lights up whenever the laptop is turned on. After seeing the pictures in that gallery, I started thinking my iBook looked boring with a white illuminating apple so I bought a rainbow pattern! Whee!
How I wish this and these would end up in my mailbox one day too.

Almost Christmas
There are four new items in the shop: three pendants and a brooch. Two of them are one-of-a-kind and when they're gone it'll be for good. So go here and take a closer look!

Wow, it's almost October already. Soon it'll start snowing and before you know it it's Christmas time.
I'm so not ready for that. I'm not even ready for the fall yet... I want to keep walking around in summery shoes with open toes all year long, but I guess I live in the wrong country to be able to do that.
I have a tendency to only buy summery clothes and my tanktop pile is like five times as high as my sweater pile, even though sweaters take up more space.
I'm trying to change my habits and yesterday I splurged on a pair of skinny black jeans and ankleboots. Now I'm looking for a knitted sweater with big buttons...

I'm also a happy customer. I placed an order at Atelier Jade ten days ago and it arrived today! A cute wooden calendar with a magnetic hedgehog, some fabric with sheep on and candy travelled all the way from Japan to me. <3

Attention Cornyness Shop customers!
As you may or may not have noticed, Cornyness Shop has two new sections and both offer _free_ stuff! A mini Totolo and a plastic heart keychain!
Yep, there's a catch. One for each free item actually...
To get a mini Totolo you need to order stuff for $25 or more and then add it to your shopping cart before the checkout.
To get a plastic heart keychain you need to have something from Cornyness Shop already and a camera. Just take a picture of yourself with the item(s) and if you're fast enough you'll be one of the two who gets a keychain!

I miss drawing
I don't know why, but it seems like I feel more creative and inspired every time my vacation is over and school is about to start (it's starting tomorrow!).
This is what I drew with some colored pencils after browsing around on one of my new favorite sites: print & pattern. I've had this secret dream of doing the illustrations for a children's book ever since my uncle first suggested it. I'm not putting down any effort into pursuing this dream so it'll probably remain one.
It's kind of embarrassing that I haven't drawn much for a long time. Nowadays I tend to doodle in my notebooks instead of spending a lot of time on one single drawing.
I could blame it on jewelry-making, but I don't believe in one hobby taking over another. Especially not when I still enjoy doing both. So I'll just blame it on school.
