Spreading love
Cornyness Shop has got a new retailer! The 21 pairs of earrings, 8 bracelets, 6 brooches and 5 mini sushi sets in the above pic are on their way to Magpie in Somerville, MA. *celebrates*
Another (smaller) package I sent out this week consisted of 15 pairs of earrings. They are now heading towards Hissyfit in Doylestown, PA since they needed to restock.
Do anyone of you live near these two stores? If so, you should definitely check them out. I bet they have lots of goodies!

My future table(s)
Aren't these the cutest/coolest/funniest and most brilliant/awesome tables you've ever seen?! I just stumbled across edesse designs where I found these tables they sell.
I can assure you I will have one of these in my future home. The problem will be choosing which one to get. Which one would you have chosen if any?
Ps. I'll be moving around Cornyness and the shop this following week because I'm changing hosting, so if you experience any downtime it's because of that. Hopefully you won't notice anything.

Friends
I'm not talking about the tv show 'Friends' this time. No, I'm talking about the ones who somehow always manage to brighten up your day no matter how down you feel. They are the special ones.
This surprise package came from a very dear friend who I "met" online. She's one of the most loving person I know and I'll miss her a lot now that she's decided to leave Flickr, where she used to be very active.
I have a tendency of losing contact with old friends. I'm trying hard to get rid of that bad habit and stay in touch. It doesn't take much and you get so much back from doing so!
There are some people who I've been meaning to look up to say hi and see how they're doing. One of them was this guy who I even had on my contact list on MSN. We hadn't spoken with each other since graduation, which was three years ago. It wouldn't have taken much effort to just doubleclick his name but I never did it. And now it's too late. He passed away a month ago.
I also lost contact with this wonderful person who I hung out with everyday at school during junior high. Unfortunately we drifted apart after we started at different high schools and haven't spoken since. Until yesterday.
She stumbled across my fashion blog by mistake and that's how she found me. We live 300 miles away from each other nowadays, but that's not a problem thanks to the internet and phone. This time I'm not going to make the same mistake again.
What I want to say with this post is that we should not take anything for granted. Show your friends and family that you care about them. Take every chance you get to do so, because one day it might be too late and you'll regret that you never picked up the phone or doubleclicked on his/her name.

By the way, I've written down your wishes about stuff you want to see in Cornyness Shop and I'll take it into consideration when I make new items in the future. Thanks for the suggestions!

New earrings in the shop! Along with some special goodies that can be yours for _free_! Check out the 'Free Gift' section on the website for more info.
Is there anything you'd like to see more of in the future shop updates? More bracelets? Beady earrings? Fimo earrings? Brooches? Or something that's missing? Let me know and your wish may come true!
Now I'm off to take a nap.

Shop restocked
This little lot (which is still not assembled in the picture) is on its way to PixelgirlShop for restocking purposes.
I have also restocked with some jewelry supplies: 288 earring hooks, 300 jumprings, 200 headpins and some free sample beads and lock. Now I'm ready to take your orders! Heehee~
Psst. New earrings will be added to the shop shortly along with some free goodies. So keep an eye out or sign up for the newsletter on the website and I'll notify you through email.

On to something completely different. The correct answer to the true or false game in the previous entry is:
*drumrolls*
*trumpet fanfare*
4. I _do not_ have a tiny heart tattooed on my ankle! I have a very low pain threshold and would never go near anything pointy voluntarily. The rest of the statements are true.

True or False
I was challenged by Käthe to list five statements where one of them is false. Can you guess which one it is?
1. I used to do martial arts (Wing Chun and Shaolin).
2. For three years I had a crush on a guy everybody said was gay.
3. I freak out when somebody gets too close to my neck because of my fear of vampires.
4. I have a tiny heart tattooed on my ankle.
5. I've been to France more than 10 times.
I'll reveal the correct answer next time I blog. If you want to play, feel free to post five statements on your blog too!

Series
I love watching series even though they are sort of dangerous. They are dangerous in that sense that you can never watch just _one_ episode. Before you know it the whole day has passed by.
Because I like series and I like making lists, I'll be listing some series I like now along with my favorite character(s) in each of them:
Prison Break
Fave characters: Michael Scofield, John Abruzzi
I hope nobody has missed this amazing series. Each and every episode is exciting and they all end by leaving you hanging, eager to see the next episode to find out what's going to happen. Totally addicting.
The X-Files
Fave characters: Fox Mulder, The Lone Gunmen
Yep, I'm a nerd. Can't help but like the supernatural and conspiracy theories. I've seen all episodes even though some of them makes me scared of sleeping alone... Trust no one!
Friends
Fave characters: Joey, Chandler
This is a classic and (according to me) the best sitcom ever. I love the early seasons when Joey and Chandler still shared the same apartment.
Azumanga Daioh
Fave characters: Sakaki, Osaka
My absolute favorite anime series! It's so crazy (but oh-so-cute!) that it makes absolutely no sense to some people. Love the episode with the culture festival!

Okay that was fun. Now what are your favorite series?

The first package of the year
Today I went to pick up the package with a small bunny deco tape, two cellphone charms and an apple printed tank top which I bought from Starshine Candy a month ago.
If you're interested in buying anything from her cute shop, I would recommend trying to contact her before you place an order. She's rather busy right now and have a lot to catch up on due to some family crisis.
I have a weakness for stuff with apples on them. I think this is the fourth top I've bought with apple prints on.

Happy New Year!
Can you believe it's 2007 already? Time passes by so fast!
Do you have any new years resolutions? I'm going to try and be more positive and stress less. I'm also going to do my best to blog more often and update this website more frequently. Same thing goes to Cornyness Shop. Since time seems to be flying by, it might be tough to keep the last two resolutions while maintaining the first one.
I'm also starting a new project this year, a blog dedicated to one of my interests: fashion. It's going to be in Swedish only, but if you don't know the language you can still look at the pictures I post...
Anyway, happy new year! I hope this year will be a good one for you all!
