2008 already...
I spent Christmas and New Year in LA last year (2007)! My parents and I went there not only because of the holidays, but also to attend at my cousin's wedding and celebrate relatives turning 10, 30, 50 and 60 years old. It was quite an experience to live in a house with 15 people sharing two bathrooms.
The plane ride to the US was anything but pleasent. The heavy fog in the UK caused our flight to get delayed five hours. When we finally arrived in Heathrow we were informed that our connecting flight was cancelled and we had to spend the night at a hotel. In addition, our four checked in luggage all got lost and weren't found until one week later. Except from that I had a great time. Really.
