More Cornyness stuff

I've just added some new earrings to the shop.

What would you like to see next at Cornyness shop? More necklaces? More stuff made of beads? More animal stuff? Something completely new?

Let me know and perhaps your wish will come true!

Drawing again

Robert is working on a cover art for a CD, and watching him draw with his tablet inspired me to produce these with my pencil:

The first one is of the characters from My neighbor Totoro and the second one is of Sakaki and Chiyo from Azumanga Daioh. Both drawings were heavily inspired by existing images found on the web. (Click the images to view larger pictures in a new window.)

It's been a while since I drew something (besides the doodles on my schoolwork notes), but hopefully I'll do it frequently from now on. To pepp me into drawing more often I even splurged on a Moleskine sketchbook. I hope my investment will help me improve on my drawing skills.

Alive and crafting

Yes, I'm still here. And yes, I'm still crafting.

These are the new stuff I've just made and added to the shop. Four necklaces and a charm bracelet.

They are all made of shrinky dinks. You can probably get it at your local craft store and it looks like a sheet of plasticy paper. Draw on it and cut it out in whatever shape you want. Put it in the oven and in less than 10 seconds it shrinks to a third of its original size and turns into a thick durable plastic charm. Fun!

I made this earring for myself. I'm planning on wearing it together with a simple stud earring or a small hoop. Mismatching earrings looks good in my opinion.

Anyway, versions of this one might turn up in the shop later when I get a hold of more fishy beads.

Ps. Thank you for commenting on my blog entries by the way. I really appreiciate you guys coming by and taking the time to leave a mark even though I'm so bad at updating!
